Accessibility Statement

Redlands Unified School District is committed to providing students, families, employees, and community members, including people with disabilities, with equitable access to information, programs, services, and activities available through the District’s websites and digital content.

Accessibility Standard

The District works to make its websites and digital content accessible in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements. Our accessibility efforts are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which provide standards for making digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Our Ongoing Work

Digital accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. The District works to improve accessibility through measures that may include:

  • Reviewing websites and digital content for accessibility barriers
  • Correcting identified accessibility issues
  • Incorporating accessibility into website and content-development practices
  • Providing accessibility guidance and training to employees who create or publish digital content
  • Working with technology providers and third-party vendors to improve the accessibility of platforms and services used by the District
  • Considering accessibility when purchasing or implementing new digital tools and services

Although we strive to make all District digital content accessible, some content may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. This may include older documents, archived materials, or content and features provided through third-party platforms. The District continues to identify and address barriers as they are discovered.
